I think it's an interesting idea, however the music industry here in the USA is so unpredictable, I cant really say if I think its a good idea or not. However anything that brings more jobs to the USA economy has my support (and Ill be applying for and office position) LOL

AWW!!!! i can't believe it! that is so sad...rest in peace and best wishes to Lee eon's family i love the idea....i kind of didn't get the whole article....but i think it seems good! as for DBSK coming to the USA..........***thinking though it is still just rumour...i would love it if they came to the USA...but in an interview, they said when they arrived in Japan, they got TERRIBLY homesick! (i mean, come on, yunho was talking to a pigeon...) and then coming to the USA (farther than JAPAN..) i don't want them to do somethin they...AH! i don't know... haha (i always think about this topic) also, fan support....idk *deep and thoughtful* ON THE OTHERHAND i would love it if they came!! i really really would...dream about night and day. and i would go to the airport, and (if you haven't heard me say this already) in this situation i would faint no joke  yeah that is all for now |

About TVXQ coming to US
Honestly i dont think they should even though i love them and will support them no matter what.
I just dont want their spirits to be broken by the tough music industry here.
But i dont think they are planning to debut here yet because even LSM said they are not ready just yet. and plus i think only BoA is going to be debuting here

I'd be really excited if DBSK were to come to the US. But now.... America just doesn't have much respect for boy bands these days... Especially since they are Asian and... stuff that I can think about but can't explain... >.> Usually, you don't see many Asian music artists here, and the US music industry is tough.
When Utada Hikaru tried making it big here, she wasn't as successful as she should have been (She deserved to be successful! [In my opinon]). Partly because her music didn't get much media attention... like... commercials and stuff... >> UNTIL... the Kingdom Hearts series, so... yeah... Hmm...

America isn't very open for Asian artists, i really wish DBSK would come too! but knowing that here, it'll be 10x harder for them to become successful. Also i agree with you on Utada Hikaru, but i have to admit, although i love her... her "Easy Breezy" song was good until her ending became dumb lol. |

I really want DBSK to come but the USA is not ready, and SM sees that, SM will wait until DBSK has a higher chance to succeed, so we will probably have to wait a while. While Backstreet Boy and New Kids on the Block are back, I haven't heard to much about how things are going for them. So we need to see what happens and just sit and wait.
SUSSY BOUGHT ME THE USA PHOTOBOOK FOR MY B-DAY/CHRISTMAS PRESENT!!!!! ^_^

that would be awesome if they went to the US but I know it wouldnt be easy for them there. Like if anybody has ever heard of Rain then you would know he's trying to extend his popularity all over the world. He did a song with Omarion as well as Usher I believe. I don't remember >.< Anyways, he's really good but you don't hear his name everywhere. Its really hard in the US music industry especially went it comes to international popular icons. Oh well. One day I hope that TVXQ will reach that point. They are definitely amazing. I'm glad I'm living in Japan and Korea is so close! ^_^ I'm getting their 4th album on my next pay check!!! YAY!!

actually you'd be surprised at how open Americans are to foreigners in the music industry, back in the 80's which was the last time an Asian artist launched music here in the USA, they did well and quite a few # of songs became popular, the artist stopped performing and grunge music became popular so obviously they didn't get very far.... So i believe the USA would be open to DBSK, but little by little, not all at once and they need to shed the good boy image a bit if they want to do well in the USA. Unfortunates, sex sells and we as consumers tend to pay attention to whats hot and sexy, not necessary whats good.

hmm..i haven't heard of many Asians here in the USA...yea sex might sell well....BUT i don't know...if they shed only a little of their good boy image, cuz this is one reason i like love them: they aren't..too dirty (or at all) in their music and exactly, the USA rap and hip hop is so like that...We will always love them, but if they come to the USA, i want the new fans to like them for the type of music they sing. |
